First Nations Capital and Infrastructure Agency of Saskatchewan (FNCIAS) is hosting its second annual conference on Sept. 19, 2023. This conference will be a gathering of Nations and Tribal Councils to discuss and shape the future of housing and infrastructure in our First Nations.
The conference aims to address the unique challenges faced by our communities, explore the transformation of services from Indigenous Services Canada as well as innovative solutions in housing and infrastructure development happening in other jurisdictions. We believe that participation and insights from First Nations and Tribal Councils across Saskatchewan will be invaluable in this collaborative effort.
The conference will feature an update on FNCIAS’s Institutional Development Plan as well as presentations from First Nations Housing & Infrastructure Council, First Nations Financial Management Board, First Nations Infrastructure Institute, and more. Throughout the day there will be opportunities for feedback, questions, and discussion about the future of housing and infrastructure in our First Nations.
